ABOUT QIGONG

Qigong (Chi Kung) is an ancient Chinese practice of energy cultivation that anyone can learn. Energy can exist in 3 possible states: Harmony, Deficiency, or Stagnation. By integrating body movement, breath and awareness Qigong helps the body return to its natural state of balance and harmony. When mind intent and breathing techniques are added to physical movement the benefits increase exponentially. Qigong is the ‘grandmother’ of Tai Chi, a martial form of Qigong. All Tai Chi has a Qigong component. Both practices promote health and wellbeing and have rejuvenating effects on body and mind. Benefits include Reduced Stress, Improved Circulation & Digestion, Improved Sleep Quality, Increased Energy & Stamina, Improved Mental Focus, Increased Strength, Flexibility, Balance & Agility. Qigong’s gentle movements can be modified and made accessible for anyone regardless of age and physical limitations. These powerful techniques of breathing, movement and mental focus can help anyone to achieve and maintain better energy balance and with it higher levels of performance.

WELCOME

I'm Rebecca Grossbard. Throughout my life I’ve been interested in health, fitness, movement and the mind-body connection. My studies have included Yoga, Tai Chi, Feldenkrais and Meditation. My ability to inspire, motivate and empower has fueled my passion to help others optimize their health and wellbeing and live with more balance and harmony.

I discovered Qigong in 2009 while on a healing journey from Lyme disease. It was the practice of Qigong that ultimately allowed me to fully heal and return to my active lifestyle - improving my immune system, energy level and overall physical and emotional wellbeing.

I am a testament to the healing powers of Qigong

I enjoy my practice and especially love the beauty, variety, playfulness and depth of Wild Goose Qigong. The dramatic improvements in my own health sparked my desire to share the benefits of Qigong with others.

Whether you are dealing with a physical or health challenge or just want to optimize and sustain your wellbeing Qigong can help!
